Form Time
Students in years 7 to 11 are expected to be in school from 8.30am and in form every day at 8.35am. Once a week, they are in an assembly which also starts at 8.35am.
Form time is a daily point of contact which includes individual and group Learning Conversations and the communication of key information/ notices. Students are registered and take part in a variety of "ready to learn" activities, such as proofreading homework tasks or reviewing previous work ready for the lessons ahead. In addition, there are discussion activities and tasks that reinforce key literacy and numeracy skills. Form time is also used to help students ensure they have the correct uniform and equipment.
Before form time, students are able to access the Library from 8.00 am every day where they can read quietly, complete work or use our IT facilities.
